While I might have wanted to go shell out 50 bones (plus drinks) to go to the club spot, I opted to chill at the crib with friends & family. We still got SUPER faded so don't trip! So HAPPY NEW YEAR and best believe that 2007 will be the defining year for Sneak Attack and the fam! So this past weekend was spent traveling with the legendary hip hop duo, Blackalicious, while they did a small one off tour (San Fran, LA & San Diego) with LA Symphony's own Pigeon John and The Pharcyde (Slim Kid Tre & Fatlip). "Runnin" will forever be one of my favorite Pharcyde joints and its not just because it was produced by my mans, Dilla. My dimepiece, Havana, just so happens to sing backup with Blackalicious on her off time, so it was well worth the trip. She needed accessories before the show in LA so we hit up Melrose for some deals.
After that I made my rounds and visited Stussy & Undefeated and then hit up Fairfax to run through Supreme to cop that new Neighborhood collabo (I was late, so I got nada! and I have no pics of this part of my travels cause I was stressed about getting there late:(. Crossed the street to say whats up to my man at SLB and then I hit up Flight Club LA next door. The retail kicks business is striving right? Must be, cause I saw a grip of overpriced kicks @ Flight Club and there was still like 50 people buying shit!! That's baller right there!!! BAALLINNN!!! After the LA show at the El Rey on Wilshire, I caught wind of some stickering by La Coka Nostra. Looks like they definately been doin they job on the streets, shoutouts to Danny Boy and Ill Bill, holla!
LA always makes me feel at home, they even named a street after my hometown (Murder City!!)
So once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! and look for the next update shortly.
